* Accepted work packing instructions:
Suggested examples of crating materials:  double walled corrugated cardboard sheets or boxes, wood boxes, plastic or Rubbermaid tubs, mailing tubes with foam or Styrofoam sheets, bubble wrap or padded portfolio cases.  NO newspaper, tissue or loose Styrofoam packing peanuts.  Include any special packing/display instructions, i.e. fragile, up/down, diagram of art placement, open this end, etc.  Title of work, artist name, address, phone # on each carton.

* Accepted entries: The artist must meet all conditions outlined in the prospectus and on this web site of NorthEastArtsKC.org.  Entries may not be removed before the close of the exhibition.  No substitutions will be allowed.

* Packing: Artist assumes responsibility for providing proper packing to guard works against damage during shipment, see Packing Instructions below at the left.

* Hold Harmless Conditions: The UMB Bank and Central Bank will provide public exhibition space at no charge, fee or commission to the artist.  Pi Gallery collects a 40% commission for sales at the gallery.  The artist agrees to hold the above exhibition hosts, HNCAC, their directors, officers, employees, agents and volunteers, harmless from any claims or damages whatsoever due to loss, damage or theft of artwork.  Artwork transportation from venue to venue will be handled by an insured, bonded agent.  I understand and agree that Cultures Without Boarders does not provide insurance for artwork.

* Documentation: Cultures Without Borders reserves the right to photograph any artwork displayed for the purpose of documentation, website and/or reproduction in publicity materials.

* Copyright: Artist declares that the artwork is their original work and does not infringe any copyright or other rights of any third party.

* Unclaimed work: If works are NOT picked up by May 31, one certified letter will be sent.  Thirty (30) days after notice, Cultures Without Borders committee will dispose of the work(s) in any way it sees fit, without liability or further notice to artist or lender.

The signature of the artist on the line below shall be understood to imply an agreement on the part of the artist with all conditions set forth in the prospectus and on this web site of NorthEastArtsKC.org in the specific terms of this agreement in its entirety.
