Cultures Arts

The Mission of Northeast Arts KC is to provide, enhance, fund, market and support cultural events which bring the visual and the performance arts to the public in the historic northeast community, without regard to race, religion or ethnic group.

This Mission has recently been expanded to include Downgo Sun as a program focused on literary prose and poetry submissions for on-line publication to give voice to the online literary community in the Northeast section of Kansas City, Missouri.  Mosaic Brain, Chalk Walk Festival, and Scarecrows in Scarritt are three other community art programs also added recently under Northeast Arts KC.
