Iris on Independence Boulevard August 3, 2011

Rebecca Koop/NE KC Chamber of Commerce and Marianne Rowse/St John Gardens wish to thank the Staff and Students of KC University of Medicine and Biosciences for their help in moving about 160 iris plants to 10 beds on Independence Boulevard, near Prospect Boulevard.  If we can beat the heat and get some rain we should have blooms in May, 2012.  We had other volunteers from the community help dig and donate additional perennials to the beds.  A grant from United Way made materials possible for this project.
