Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences

   Students and faculty from KCUMB will be on hand to staff the Health Tent, where they'll be doing blood pressure and blood sugar screenings and offering great advice on ways we can live healthier, happier lives.

Mattie Rhodes

The team from the Mattie Rhodes Center will be on hand to talk about Soccer for Success®, a free after-school program that they partner with the U.S. Soccer Foundation to provide.

KC ZooMobile

Chalkwalk will be getting a visit from the KC ZooMobile! Trained Zoo instructors will provide conservation education and interpretive activities through the use of animal ambassadors and or animal artifacts via a Zoomobile visit.

KC Symphony Instrument Petting Zoo

The KC Symphony's Bush and Jamie Helzberg Instrument Petting Zoo will be on hand to give kids the opportunity to see and hear the different instruments of the orchestra – up close and personal!

Kansas City Public Library

    Staff from the KC Public Library's Northeast Branch will be at Chalk Walk to raise awareness about all the great stuff that the library has to offer. They'll be doing book give-aways and offering information about their summer programs.

Toy Boats!!!

What's not to love about toy boats? The toy boat regatta will be back at Chalkwalk again this year to help every kid's dream of being a pirate come true.

Stone Lion Puppets

    Stone Lion is an annual favorite at Chalk Walk, and they'll be on hand again to present their amazing moving artworks and artistry. 

Eleos Coffee

     The crew from Eleos Coffee will be at Chalk Walk each morning to provide coffee for our volunteers and artists. 

About

Kids and parents will join local, amateur and practicing artists to create everything from temporary chalk "masterpieces" to some colorful games of Tic-Tac-Toe!

Get your hands dirty chalking a square!

 

 You don't have to be a professional artist or even know much about art to be a part of Chalk Walk in the Historic Northeast. All you need is the desire to have fun and be inspired.
