“The Distant Now" is like if a Super Nintendo became sentient and started writing songs ripping off Van Morrison. The trio’s members, Jacob E.chord, Brandan Hoffman, and Anson The Ornery, are all local Kansas City musicians. They have combined their diverse backgrounds in synth-pop, rock and singer-songwriter to experiment with updated psychedelic sounds. Their recently released suite “Want Not is Deth” is now streaming on all platforms.”

Many thanks to our sponsors, members and donors!
The SummerDusk Concert
Series is funded in part
by a grant from the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund.

Northeast Arts KC is proud to partner with
Kansas City Parks and Recreation to bring
the SummerDusk Concerts to the
people of Kansas City.

Additional funding for SummerDusk
comes from local donors.
Somtimes it's just a few bucks
in the jar at the Northeast Arts
table on the day of the concert -
other times it's a generous contribution from a local business
or a friend of the nieghborhood.
These donors play an essential part in making the concerts possible.
To everyone who helps out, we say,
THANK YOU!
