Northeast Arts Open Studio Tours

2024 EVENT DETAILS:

We have 8 studio/locations featuring 28 visual artists, creatives, and an author.

On Dec 7th, pick up at a map at the EGG (Economic Growth Gallery) - the first location on the map. Located at: 2659 Independence Ave, KCMO.

Featuring Locations: Core Coffee, Latinx Education Collaborative, Whim Space, The EGG, Sala de Arte, Pendleton Arts Block Gallery, Back Door Pottery, Schleifkevision Studio, Fernando Achucarro Apartment & Studio @ Pendleton Arts Block

Northeast Arts KC is looking for Artists who operate their artist studio in the Northeast area footprint.   This would include Columbus Park, Paseo West,  Pendleton Heights, Scarritt Renaissance, Indian Mound, Independence Plaza, Lykins, Forgotten Homes and Sheffield neighborhoods.

DATES:

The date for the OPEN Artists Studio tour is: 

Saturday and Sunday December 7 and 8

Times to be open to the public:  

Saturday 10 am to 6 pm.  Sunday Noon to 4 pm

This event is offered for the benefit of our local artists. We want to bring awareness and

promote our own diverse artist community by offering an event that brings the patrons to YOU.

​

SUBMISSION INFO:

Map Preference is given to brick and mortar storefronts, home studios or established Gallery's.Your space would be open to the public and listed on a printed and a digital map..  

It will be shared on the Northeast Arts KC web site, our social media, the Northeast News,

ArtKCGo calendar and other event calendars. You will have maps and yard sign delivered to your location.

If an artist operates out of their home and does not want their home address public, there is a possiblity that there may be space at these Northeast Galleries or public spaces: Core Coffee, PH Coffee,  IBCC Church, Whim Space,  Pendleton  Arts Block Gallery, the EGG Gallery, Sala de Arte or other public spaces in the Northeast neighborhoods to feature your work. These showing spaces are limited. You may be able to partner with an artist who has a storefront. Let us know if you are looking for a space. More than one artist can be at any one location. We need committment for the creating the Map.

Drop Dead Deadline for submission is October 11.

Fee (Per address) for participating in the Northeast Artists Studio Tour is $50. to cover map design, printing and advertising..  Payment is Due with Application information to hold your space.

•        Artist Name

•        Business Name if applicable

•        Location /Artist Studio with Full Address

•        Contact Phone

•        Email address

•        Your media and SHORT Once sentence description of your work

•        At least 2 Hi Res images of the work that represents you

We are not jurying your art to be included in this event. You must keep in mind that this is a public tour at your working studio or showing space. You accept the liability for the public while at your studio/space.  You must be present at this event to make your own sales and promote the event on your social media platforms for this to be successful.
