Come and meet the Northeast Area Artists at their Creative and Showing spaces. This self guided tour is offered two days with five locations within a ten minute walk or drive .

A Free Two Day Self-Guided Art Tour

4rd Annual with locations featuring a dozen visual artists & creatives. All within a 10 minute drive or walk. Look for the yard signs.

On Dec 6th, Pick up a map at the EGG (Economic Growth Gallery) 2659 Independence Ave. KCMO 64124 They are our first gallery location on the map.

Come, meet & shop the Northeast Area Artists at their Creative and Showing Spaces. All your holiday shopping done in two days and you are supporting Local ARTISTS !

Northeast has been a home for artists for years because of it’s affordability and location near down town, crossroads and the west bottoms. Places are now opening up for more brick & mortar showing and workspaces in the Historic Northeast and we invite you explore & support the talent in our community.

DATES:

The date for the OPEN Artists Studio tour is: 

Saturday and Sunday December 6 and 7

Times to be open to the public:  

Saturday 10 am to 4 pm.  Sunday Noon to 4 pm

This event is offered for the benefit of our local artists. We want to bring awareness and

promote our own diverse artist community by offering an event that brings the patrons to YOU.

​

SUBMISSION INFO:

Map Preference is given to brick and mortar storefronts, home studios or established Gallery's.Your space would be open to the public and listed on a printed and a digital map..  

It will be shared on the Northeast Arts KC web site, our social media, the Northeast News,

ArtKCGo calendar and other event calendars. You will have maps and yard sign delivered to your location.

If an artist operates out of their home and does not want their home address public, there is a possibility that there may be space at the Northeast Galleries or public spaces. Please reach out for more info. These showing spaces are limited. You may be able to partner with an artist who has a storefront. Let us know if you are looking for a space. More than one artist can be at any one location. We need commitment for the creating the Map.

Fee (Per address) for participating in the Northeast Artists Studio Tour is $70. to cover map design, printing and advertising..  Payment is Due with Application information to hold your space.

•        Business Name if applicable

•        Location /Artist Studio with Full Address

•        Contact Phone

•        Email address

•        Your media and SHORT Once sentence description of your work

•        At least 2 Hi Res images of the work that represents you

We are not jurying your art to be included in this event. You must keep in mind that this is a public tour at your working studio or showing space. You accept the liability for the public while at your studio/space.  You must be present at this event to make your own sales and promote the event on your social media platforms for this to be successful.
