The Mission of the Historic Northeast Cultural Arts Commission is to provide, enhance, fund, market and support cultural events which bring the visual and the performance arts to the public in the historic northeast community, without regard to race, religion or ethnic group.  This Mission has recently been expanded to include literary prose and poetry submissions for on-line publication to give voice to the online literary community in the Northeast section of Kansas City, Missouri.  Mosaic Brain and Chalk Walk Festival are two other community art programs also added recently under Historic Northeast Cultural Arts Commission.
